Location: the hotel was near the beach, Newcastle or Morpeth and the seafront. And it was just a short walk away from Shaj Tandoori, ate there couple of times. I booked clean double room here with TV and tea/coffee. I thoroughly enjoyed having coffee and toast in the morning.

Our experience at this place was mind-blowing! Kathryn, the hostess, greeted us with a choice of juices and a delicious breakfast complete with fruit, yogurt, and perfectly cooked eggs. We felt right at home. Plus, the location was perfect, with a stunning view of the coast from our room and just a short walk to the beach. We couldn't believe they also had free parking, a picnic area, and a flat-screen TV in our room. We even had an electric kettle for late-night tea sessions. The best part? The range of activities available, from cycling and canoeing to snorkeling and wind surfing. They even had a nearby golf course for golf enthusiasts! And as non-smokers, we appreciated that there was a strict no smoking policy on site. our stay here was absolutely super and we can't wait to come back.

Sat in the lovely garden, sipping a Pimm's, pretending the busy airport nearby was a spa fountain. Durham was just a hop, skip, and a jump away if I felt like a day trip.
Oh, what a shame the helicopter landing pad was under renovation during my stay! How am I supposed to arrive in style now?
